REVIEW: asm extra (anti-venom returns)

The Story: It has been a couple weeks since Eddie Brock became Anti-Venom. He is using his powers to help people (rid them of addictions). He encounters a group of drug dealers that work for Mr. Negative (the individual who gave him his powers).

The Good: Anti-Venom - I am really digging this character. I don't know what it is - his attitude, his look, Eddie's story - everything seems to be working. I particularly like a symbiote story that doesn't involve Spidey. Black and White - I really enjoy the black and white drawings throughout the story. I think it would be very cool to have Mr. Negative be Anti-Venom's main villian. The constant contrast between light and dark colors could make for some intresting artwork.

The Bad: Inner Circle - Who are these guys? Maybe its my fault for not knowing Mr. Negative's backstory, but I was completely lost with his goons. They can heal quickly, don't seem to die, and have 'toxic' blood? Length - Why can't Anti-Venom's return be a full length book? I would of like to see more of the helping crackheads and taking down drug dealers. I want more!

The Overall: 4 outta 5. A nice solid story with decent artwork. I hope Marvel decides to continue his advetures.
