spectacular spider-man - venom returns

Venom returns to Spectacular Spider-Man this summer
Season Two (episodes 14-26) of The Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon series begins in March. From the episodes' descriptions, it looks like our favorite Symbiote will return.
Although he is very new, this might be a great medium for Anti-Venom to get more exposure. Think about it, they could easily create a different origin story (so they don' t have to bring Mr. Negative in) and have the Venom symbiote bond with Scorpion. I think it would work for the cartoon.
Although Cletus Kasady is rumored to be introduced in Season Two, I think they are waiting until Season Three to unveil Carnage...
CAUTION-below are the synopsis for three episodes featuring Venom. Do not proceed if you do not want spoilers.
  1. First Steps: School’s back in session, and things have changed. Peter Parker’s actually invited to Flash Thompson’s birthday bash. Meanwhile, Spider-Man has to party with Sandman who’s once again looking to make his Big Score. Sandman, in an attempt to stop a ship full of petrol increases his size. Sandman loses his score, but turns into a hero in the eyes of everyone by sacrificing himself to save the crew of the ship when it catches fire. When everyone is gone and thinks he's dead, Sandman reintegrates himself and leaves the city. It turns out that Eddie was stalking Peter, so he could make Pete paranoid enough to reveal where the symbiote was buried.
  2. Growing Pains: Venom is back and framing Spider-Man. Meanwhile, alien spores infect John Jameson increasing his size, strength and mass. J. Jonah Jameson convinces his son to become "Colonel Jupiter" a superhero to capture Spidey. After a massive fight, John Jameson is cured from the alien spore and loses his powers, then he's forced into a psychiatric hospital after he goes insane, missing his powers. In the end, Venom crashes through the window of the Daily Bugle, and reveals that Peter is really Spider-Man. Throughout the episode, theatre try outs are taking place and the monologues are telling the story. Harry and Gwen start dating. Harry's father is on the phone with him [Harry] and says that he is proud of him.
  3. Identity Crisis: Peter Parker’s secret identity as Spider-Man has been outted by Venom leaving Pete and his loved ones vulnerable to all of Spidey’s enemies. During the episode, Ned Lee interviews everyone that Spidey and Pete know, to see if they know if they are one in the same. There is also a large controversy around Peter, with everyone thinking that he is Spider-man. Eddie steals a gene cleanser, and tries to pour it down Pete's throat, but ends up getting it himself.
