Could the spawn of Venom becoming to NYC? With the Spidey musical, Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark, slated to hit Broadway in January 2010, a lot of rumors are flying around. The one story that I found interesting was the villains that may make an appearance. Turns out Marvel is creating a new villain, Swiss Miss, to battle Spider-Man on stage, but there will be 'classic' villains as well. I really don't know how to feel about this. There are some aspects that sound okay, but I don't know how they are going to pull off an entire Spider-Man musical. Although, they do have Bono and The Edge of U2 composing songs, so it can't be that bad...right? Since it sounds like Carnage will be part of a Sinister Six group, there could be some awesome fight sequences. However, overall I don't think this is something I'll be driving to NYC to see.
